September 2025 Holidays List: The month of September is about to begin and during this time, schools, colleges, banks will remain closed on various festivals and regional occasions in various states across the country.

These include occasions like Karam Puja, Onam, Eid-e-Milad, Indra Jatra, Navratri Sthapana, Durga Puja and Maharaja Hari Singh Jayanti. It is worth mentioning that banks also remain closed on Sundays and the second and fourth Saturdays of the month.

Apart from this, national and state-level holidays are applicable on different dates in different states. Therefore, people are advised to check the list of holidays in their state before going to the bank, so that there is no problem in work. Along with this, there will also be a holiday in schools and educational institutions. Especially during Navratri and Dussehra, schools in many states may remain closed from September 22 to Dussehra.
