The Punjab Government has declared a holiday in Faridkot district today, i.e. September 23. A notification has also been issued for this.
According to the notification, all schools, colleges, government offices in Faridkot district will remain closed. In fact, the District Deputy Commissioner Faridkot has declared a holiday on September 23, keeping in mind the arrival of Baba Sheikh Farid Ji.
The notification issued states that keeping in mind the advent of Baba Sheikh Farid Ji before 2025, a local holiday is declared on 23-09-2025 (Tuesday) in all government offices, educational institutions, service centers, Farid centers etc. (except the banking sector) in Faridkot district.
