Preparations to seal Ayodhya, entry will not be available from August 4, waterways will also be seen

There is a readiness to seal Ayodhya from all sides due to the arrival of the Prime Minister. For this, in the past arrangements are being monitored on all the routes of entry into Faizabad city including Ayodhya. No one will be allowed to enter Ayodhya from the eve of the main event. At the same time, plans are being made to give VVIP coming from the road via Lucknow to Ayodhya from Sahadatganj. 

Also, in the neighboring districts of Ayodhya district Basti, Gonda, Ambedkaranagar, Barabanki, Sultanpur, Amethi etc. have already been appointed nodal officers. Under his leadership, the Purlis of these districts will closely monitor the border. At the same time PAC, Water Police are being deployed to keep a close watch on the waterways.



There is a readiness to erect a barrier on all the major and small entry routes of Ayodhya including the highway for the Prime Minister’s arrival in Ayodhya. All these will start functioning from August 3. From the evening of August 4, entry into Ayodhya can be restricted. For this, earlier arrangements on all routes are being re-monitored. 

Major routes of entry into Ayodhya are Jalapa Devi Chouraha, Mohabra Bypass, Booth Number Four, Ram Ghat, Saket Petrol Pump, Bandha Tiraha, Hanuman Cave and other small paths including barricading. Apart from this, additional security personnel will be searched on the highway also by deploying additional security personnel on the barricading.

total of seven zones have been created for the security of the super security zone from Saket College to Nayaghat , including Hanumangarhi and Saryu coast zones. The main route from Saket College to Nayaghat has been kept in the Super Security Zone. On this route, about one km from Saket College to the venue on which the Prime Minister will travel by road, many barriers on these routes have been activated.

All roads leading to the Ram Janmabhoomi from the Ayodhya main road are set to be sealed. At the same time, there is a possibility that PM Narendra Modi can also do darshan and worship in Hanumangarhi, keeping this in mind, traffic may be stopped on the main road. 



Neighboring districts will also be on alert, nodal officers will keep an eye on the
PM’s visit to Ayodhya’s neighboring districts have also been put on alert. Nodal police officers were deployed in these districts in the past, these officers have taken over. Police of neighboring district Basti and Gonda are continuously checking the Ayodhya border across the river Saryu, along with the police team patrolling the river in collaboration with the water police.

Apart from this, the border area is being monitored by the police of Ambedkaranagar, Sultanpur, Amethi and Barabanki, search of vehicles and suspects coming from them. All activities are being shared by the officers of these districts by keeping constant contact with Ayodhya Police.
