PNB released new FD rates: Big news! PNB increased interest rates on FD, check new rate here

PNB FD Rates: If you are a customer of Punjab National Bank then there is good news for you. The bank has increased the interest rates on fixed deposits for its customers. The new rates have come into effect from July 20. Check here the latest rates.



PNB FD Rates Hike: There is great news for the customers of PNB. Punjab National Bank is giving big benefits to its customers. Actually, the bank has increased the rates of Fixed Deposit (FD) for its customers. According to the official website of the bank, the interest rates for fixed deposits of less than Rs 2 crore have been increased. According to the information given on the official website of the bank, the new rates are effective from July 20, 2022. Let us tell you that after the announcement of increase in the repo rate of RBI, PNB has increased the FD interest rates for the second time in the month of July. Earlier on July 4 also, the bank had increased the interest rates of FD.

  • The bank has kept its interest rates stable at 3 percent on FDs maturing in 7 to 45 days.
  • Interest of 3.25 percent will be available on FDs maturing in 46 to 90 days.
  • FDs maturing between 91 and 179 days will get an interest of 4 percent.
  • Interest will be available at the rate of 4.50 percent on maturity of 180 days and less than 1 year.
  • The interest rate of 5.30 percent has been continued on FDs maturing in one year.
  • Interest will be increased by 15 basis points (bps) at the rate of 5.45 percent on FDs maturing from 1 year to 2 years.
  • The interest rate of 5.50 per cent will continue on deposits maturing from 2 years to 3 years.
  • Interest will be given at the rate of 5.75 percent, increasing by 25 bps, on deposits maturing from 3 years to 5 years.
  • The interest rate on deposits maturing from 5 years to 10 years will remain the same at 5.60 percent.
  • The interest rate on fixed deposits maturing in 1111 days has been increased from 5.50 percent to 5.75 percent.

Senior citizens benefit

PNB has informed on its website that the revised rates are applicable on both new and old FDs with effect from 20.07.2022. Apart from this, the bank has told that an additional interest rate will be given to senior citizens.
