Vande Bharat Express Trains: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off four new Vande Bharat Express trains simultaneously on November 8th at around 8:15 am in his parliamentary constituency Varanasi.
These four new Vande Bharat Express trains will run between Varanasi and Khajuraho, Lucknow and Saharanpur, Firozpur and Delhi, and Ernakulam and Bengaluru. These new trains will reduce travel time between key destinations in the country and will also enhance regional mobility, promote tourism, and boost economic activity across the country.
New train will connect Varanasi, Prayagraj, Chitrakoot and Khajuraho
The Banaras-Khajuraho Vande Bharat Express will establish direct connectivity on this route and save approximately 2 hours and 40 minutes compared to the currently operating special trains. The Banaras-Khajuraho Vande Bharat Express will connect some of India’s most revered religious and cultural destinations, including Varanasi, Prayagraj, Chitrakoot, and Khajuraho.
What will be the route of Lucknow-Saharanpur Vande Bharat?
The Lucknow-Saharanpur Vande Bharat Express will complete the journey in approximately 7 hours and 45 minutes, saving approximately 1 hour of travel time. The Lucknow-Saharanpur Vande Bharat Express will significantly benefit passengers from Lucknow, Sitapur, Shahjahanpur, Bareilly, Moradabad, Bijnor, and Saharanpur, and will also improve their access to Haridwar via Roorkee.
The fastest train will run on the Firozpur-Delhi route.
The Firozpur-Delhi Vande Bharat Express will be the fastest train on this route, completing its journey in just 6 hours and 40 minutes. The Firozpur-Delhi Vande Bharat Express will strengthen connectivity between the national capital and the major cities of Firozpur, Bathinda and Patiala in Punjab.
There will be a saving of 2 hours on the Ernakulam-Bengaluru route.
In South India, the Ernakulam-Bengaluru Vande Bharat train will reduce travel time by more than 2 hours, completing the journey in 8 hours and 40 minutes.
