PM Modi released a special postage stamp and coin to mark the 100th anniversary of the RSS.

The Government of India has issued a special postage stamp and commemorative coin to mark the 100th anniversary of the RSS. The coin also bears the Sangh’s motto.

On Wednesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi released a special postage stamp and a coin to mark the centenary of the founding of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) on Vijayadashami this year. The Rs 100 coin features the national emblem on one side, while the other features a magnificent image of Bharat Mata in the Varada Mudra with a lion. The image depicts volunteers bowing to Bharat Mata with reverence and dedication, reflecting the spirit of patriotism and sacrifice.

Where is this coin made?

This special coin has been minted by India Government Mint, Kolkata, a unit of Security Printing and Minting Corporation of India Limited, Ministry of Finance (Government of India).
