It was expected to come in June 2025. According to reports, it is likely to be released on August 2. However, no official statement has been issued in this regard yet.
What is the detail
According to media reports, the next installment of PM Kisan can be released on August 2. Actually, on this day, a big program of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to be held in Varanasi. In this, a gift of Rs 1 thousand crore will be given to UP. In such a situation, it is believed that the 20th installment of PM Kisan can also be released on this occasion. At the same time, new farmers who have not yet registered still have the opportunity to enroll and be eligible for future installments. The government allows continuous registration under PM Kisan, provided the person meets the eligibility conditions of the scheme.
Who is eligible for PM Kisan?
To be eligible for the 20th installment of PM Kisan, you must:
Must be a citizen of India
Must be owner of agricultural land
Should be a small or marginal farmer
Should not be a person receiving pension of Rs 10,000 or more per month
Income tax should not have been paid
Should not be an institutional landholder.
How to apply?
New registrations can be done online through the official portal or offline through Common Service Center (CSC). Here is the process:
1. Visit the pmkisan.gov.in portal
2. Click on ‘New Farmer Registration’ on the homepage. You will be redirected to a form asking for Aadhaar number, state and captcha code.
3. Verify your Aadhaar using OTP.
4. Fill the application. Enter full name (as per Aadhaar), bank account number and IFSC code, mobile number, land ownership details (Khasra/Khatauni, etc.).
You may also be asked to upload land documents depending on your state.
5. Submit and wait for verification.
After submission, the application goes to the State Nodal Officer (SNO) for verification. After approval, your name is added to the beneficiary list.
How to check beneficiary status?
- Go to https://pmkisan.gov.in.
- Click on ‘Know Your Status’.
- Enter your Registration Number or Aadhaar Number.
- Check whether your name is in the beneficiary list or not.
- Also ensure that your e-KYC is complete, as it is mandatory for release of installment.
