New Delhi. The price of crude oil continues to fluctuate in the international market. It is also affecting India. The government oil companies of the country have released new rates of petrol and diesel this morning i.e. on Friday. Brent crude remains around $94 per barrel. The price of petrol is currently running above Rs 100 in all three metros including Mumbai except Delhi.
The good news is that there is no change in oil prices. Oil prices have remained stable in all major cities including the four metros of the country. Petrol is being sold at Rs 96.72 in the capital Delhi and Rs 106.31 in Mumbai. Dealers say that if the prices of crude go up, then the companies can increase the prices of petrol and diesel again.

In Patna, petrol has become Rs 107.24 and diesel Rs 94.04 per liter.
Petrol in Port Blair has become Rs 84.10 and diesel Rs 79.74 per liter.
New rates are released every morning at 6 am
Petrol and diesel prices change every day at 6 am. The new rates are applicable from 6 am onwards. After adding excise duty, dealer commission, VAT and other things to the price of petrol and diesel, its price becomes almost double of the original price. This is the reason why the prices of petrol and diesel appear so high.
