Petrol-Diesel Price 3 Oct 2025: Today, on 3 October 2025, the prices of petrol and diesel in India remained stable in most cities. In Delhi, the price of petrol today is ₹94.77 per liter and diesel is ₹87.67 per liter.
In Mumbai, petrol is being sold at ₹103.50 per liter and diesel at ₹92.15 per liter. In major cities of Maharashtra, the price of petrol remained around ₹103.50 per liter and the price of diesel was around ₹91.44 per liter. No major change in prices has been seen even in major cities like Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata.
These prices are determined daily based on international crude oil prices, the dollar-rupee exchange rate, and central and state government taxes. Prices vary slightly due to varying taxes in each state, but prices haven’t fluctuated significantly in the past few days.
