Number of applications increased rapidly

The demand for passport services in cities like Agra, Meerut, Vrindavan and Saharanpur has increased rapidly in the last few years. Due to this, the capacity of POPSK has been increased. Due to limited number of application slots, citizens had to wait for several days for appointment. After increasing the capacity, appointment will be available quickly and the time of passport making process will also improve.

Apply from the right website only

Regional Passport Officer Anuj Swaroop has appealed to the people to apply for passport only on the right website. He said that the official website for application is www.passportindia.gov.in. If people come with the correct documents after applying, it will take less time for passport to be issued.
