When do children need a PAN card

How to get a child’s PAN card made?
- To get a child’s PAN card made, you first have to go to the NSDL website.
- There you have to fill Form 49A. To fill Form 49A, read all the instructions carefully and fill all the personal information by choosing the right category.
- After this, upload the necessary documents including the child’s birth certificate and parents’ photo.
- Apart from this, you will need to upload the signature of the child’s parents and also pay a fee of about Rs 100, after which you will be able to submit the form.
- Then you will get a receipt number, which you can use to check the status of the application.
- After applying for a PAN card, you will get a mail. The PAN card will be made and sent to you within 15 days of its verification.
