The PAN card has become the most important document today. If you haven’t yet linked your PAN card to your Aadhaar card, be cautious. Failure to do so by December 31, 2025, will deactivate your PAN card. Consequently, your PAN card may become useless.

In this regard, TaxBuddy said on the social media platform X, “Your PAN card will be deactivated from January 1, 2026. This will prevent you from filing your Income Tax Return (ITR). Furthermore, you will not receive any refunds. Even your salary or SIP payments may be disrupted.”
