Regarding the UPI transaction, the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) has made it clear that no additional charge will be charged. Actually, it was being claimed in many media reports that from the new year, an additional charge will have to be given on UPI transactions.

Earlier some media reports had claimed that Amazon Pay, Google Pay and Phone Pay may have to pay additional charges on UPI transactions as NPCI paid on payment of third party app service companies from January 1, 2021 to 30 Have decided to apply percent cap.
