New Delhi-Patna Special Train: In response to the increasing passenger traffic during the festive season, the Railways has taken a significant step.
A special Vande Bharat Express train will now run between Delhi and Patna. This decision was taken to provide relief to passengers and ensure a faster and more comfortable return journey during the festive season.
With the arrival of the festive season, traveling by train becomes no less than an ordeal. Long waiting lists for seats, overcrowding, and ticket booking difficulties become commonplace. This time, especially for travelers traveling from Delhi to Bihar, this time is always challenging. In such a situation, the Railways has announced a significant relief for travelers. In view of the increasing number of people returning home for the festive season, the Railways has taken special steps to make travel easier and faster.

This decision has brought smiles on the faces of passengers who were hoping to reach their homes during the festivals, as the Railways has announced to run a special Vande Bharat Express train this season, which will run between Delhi and Patna for a limited period and will make travelling convenient during the festivals.
Vande Bharat Special Service will start from October 11
According to Northern Railway, this special train will run from October 11 to November 16, 2025. This means that the entire festival season—Navratri, Dussehra, Diwali, and Chhath—will be used by this train to help people reach their homes. This train will make a total of 32 trips between New Delhi and Patna in both directions. Northern Railway Chief Spokesperson Himanshu Shekhar Upadhyay stated that the number of special trains is being continuously increased to anticipate the heavy passenger rush during the festivals. These include clone trains and unreserved trains.
Like last year, this time too a special journey
Keeping passenger convenience in mind, the Railways has decided to operate the Vande Bharat Express special train this year, just like last year. This train has generated considerable enthusiasm among passengers, as it is known for its fast, modern, and comfortable journey. Traveling on the Vande Bharat Express has become more than just a journey, but a premium experience for passengers.

When and from where will the train run ?
According to the schedule issued by the Railways
Train No. 02252 will depart from New Delhi station every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 8:35 am and reach Patna Junction at 9:30 pm.
In return direction, train number 02251 will leave Patna Junction every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday at 10 am and reach New Delhi at 11:30 pm.
This train will stop at Aligarh Junction, Kanpur Central, Prayagraj Junction, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction, Buxar and Ara stations in both directions.

This Vande Bharat Special will have 16 modern coaches, capable of seating thousands of passengers. Ticket booking will begin soon. This train is a gift to those traveling to Bihar during the festive season.
