New Tejas Express Train: Western Railway has taken this decision for the convenience of passengers and to meet the travel demand especially during the summer season. Apart from this, to meet the demand of passengers, Western Railway has also increased the frequency of two pairs of special trains at special fares.
Indian Railways is going to run Superfast Tejas Special Trains between Mumbai Central-Rajkot and Mumbai Central-Gandhidham. Western Railways has taken this decision for the convenience of passengers and to meet the travel demand especially during the summer season. Apart from this, to meet the demand of passengers, Western Railways has also increased the frequency of two pairs of special trains at special fares.
1. Train No. 09005/09006 Mumbai Central – Rajkot Tejas Superfast Bi-weekly Special [18 trips]
Train number 09005 Mumbai Central-Rajkot Special will leave Mumbai Central every Wednesday and Friday at 23.20 hrs and reach Rajkot at 11.45 hrs the next day. This train will run from 30 May to 27 June, 2025. Similarly, train number 09006 Rajkot-Mumbai Central Special will leave Rajkot every Thursday and Saturday at 18.30 hrs and reach Mumbai Central at 07.30 hrs the next day. This train will run from 31 May to 28 June, 2025.
On the way, this train will stop at Borivali, Vapi, Surat, Vadodara, Anand, Ahmedabad, Viramgam, Surendranagar and Wankaner stations in both directions.
This train consists of First AC, AC 2-Tier and AC 3-Tier coaches.
2. Train No. 09017/09018 Mumbai Central – Gandhidham Tejas Superfast Weekly Special [10 trips]
Train number 09017 Mumbai Central-Gandhidham Special will depart from Mumbai Central every Monday at 23.20 hrs and reach Gandhidham at 12.55 hrs the next day. This train will run from 02 June to 30 June, 2025. Similarly, train number 09018 Gandhidham-Mumbai Central Special will depart from Gandhidham every Tuesday at 18.55 hrs and reach Mumbai Central at 07.30 hrs the next day. This train will run from 03 June, 2025 to 01 July, 2025.
On the way, this train will stop at Borivali, Vapi, Surat, Vadodara, Anand, Ahmedabad, Viramgam, Samakhiali and Bhachau stations in both directions.
This train consists of First AC, AC 2-Tier and AC 3-Tier coaches.
Some trains have also been extended
- Train No. 09067 Udhna-Jayanagar Unreserved Special has been extended till June 29, 2025.
- Train No. 09068 Jaynagar-Udhna Unreserved Special has been extended till June 30, 2025.
- Train No. 09069 Udhna-Samastipur Special has been extended till June 28, 2025.
- Train No. 09070 Samastipur-Udhna Special has been extended till June 30, 2025.
Booking for train numbers 09005, 09006, 09017 & 09018 will start from 25.05.2025 and booking for extended journeys of train number 09069 will start on 27.05.2025 at all PRS counters and IRCTC website.
