New FD Scheme: This government bank has started a new FD scheme, you will get 7.65% return in 450 days, check details

BOI has launched a new FD scheme. On which very attractive returns are being received. All customers can take advantage of it. The interest rate is more than 7%. Apart from this, the bank has also revised the interest rates. Let’s know how much interest will be received on how many days of investment?

The repo rate has been cut once again. After which many banks are going to increase the interest rate on fixed deposits. Meanwhile, the public sector Bank of India has given a gift to its customers. A new and special FD scheme has been launched. Which is named “Star Vaibhav Fixed Deposit”. It is getting more interest than regular FD. Both callable and non-callable options are also available in it.

Under this special FD scheme, the bank is offering 7% interest to general citizens on a tenure of 450 days. Senior citizens are getting 7.50% and super senior citizens are getting 7.65% interest. Customers can invest less than Rs 3 crore in it. This scheme is available for a limited time period.

The bank is offering 7.15% interest to general citizens on choosing non-callable FD. Super senior citizens are getting up to 7.80% return. However, there will be no facility of withdrawal before maturity.

How much return is being received on regular FD?

Bank of India has also revised the interest rates of fixed deposits. The new rates have been effective from 1 June 2025. The bank is offering interest ranging from 3% to 7% on tenures ranging from 7 days to 10 years. Senior citizens are getting 0.50% extra return. Except for the tenure of 450 days, the highest return is being received on the tenure of 1 year. The interest rate for general citizens is 6.75%. At the same time, senior citizens are getting 7.25% interest.

  • 7 days to 14 days – 3%
  • 15 days to 30 days – 3%
  • 31 days to 45 days – 3%
  • 46 days to 90 days – 4.50%
  • 91 days to 179 days – 4.25%
  • 180 days to 210 days – 5.75%
  • 211 days to 269 days – 5.75%
  • 270 days to less than one year – 5.75%
  • One year – 6.75%
  • More than 1 year and less than 2 years – 6.70%
  • 450 days – 7%
  • 2 years to less than 3 years – 6.65%
  • 3 years to less than 5 years – 6.50%
  • 5 years to less than 8 years – 6%
  • 8 years to 10 years – 6%
