After Muzaffarpur-Hyderabad, now a plan is being made for Amrit Bharat train from Muzaffarpur to Pune. The railway department has started the process for this. Amrit Bharat train will be run in place of the 05289 Muzaffarpur-Pune weekly train that runs now.
A separate rack is being arranged for this route. The second rack kept on standby at Muzaffarpur station will run in place of 05293 Muzaffarpur-Secunderabad. Now this rack will run as Amrit Bharat between Muzaffarpur-Secunderabad-Hyderabad. Preparations for this are in full swing.
However, there is a problem regarding the washing pit. Currently, the maintenance of Motihari-bound Amrit Bharat train is being done in Muzaffarpur somehow. Railway workers are facing problems due to the absence of a washing pit. This problem will increase further when two trains start running. An attempt was made to repair the washing pit about two months ago, but it was abandoned after failing. Now from September 1, Samastipur Railway Division will make a strategy to solve this.
Trains of Corona period will start
Meanwhile, a proposal has been sent to restart all the trains that were closed during the Corona period. COM Rajesh Kumar of East Central Railway on Thursday inquired about these issues from Area Officer Ravi Shankar Mahato and Station Manager. He said that a proposal has been sent to restart all the mail-express trains that were closed during the Corona period.
Trains are not running at night on Muzaffarpur to Chhapra-Siwan and Muzaffarpur to Motihari-Narkatiyaganj routes. For the last five years, passengers have to wait at the station all night or take the help of private vehicles. Especially on Motihari route, passengers wait till 15215 Muzaffarpur-Narkatiyaganj train which leaves at 7:30 in the morning. Many passengers spend the whole night in the empty rack of the train.
The COM of East Central Railway has assured that steps will be taken in this direction soon. During the inspection, he also reached Narayanpur Anant station. It was told here that the stoppage of many trains including Muzaffarpur-Bhagalpur Janseva has been stopped since the Corona period. Officials were asked to consider the restoration of all these stoppages.
