LPG cylinders have become cheaper from today, November 1. Oil marketing companies have issued new rates for domestic and commercial gas cylinders. According to the Indian Oil website, the price of 19 kg commercial gas cylinder has been reduced in many cities across the country including Delhi, while the price of 14.2 kg domestic gas cylinder will remain the same.
From Delhi, Mumbai to Patna, Lucknow and Kolkata, 19 kg commercial gas cylinders have become cheaper by Rs 5 to Rs 5.50.
This has brought some relief to lakhs of consumers using commercial gas cylinders. Thus, the price has come down by about Rs 200 in the last one year. This is a significant relief for those using it in hotels and other commercial places.
How much will the cylinder cost now?
The price of a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder has been reduced by ₹5 or ₹5.50 in four major cities across the country.
The price in Delhi was ₹1595.50, which has now been reduced by ₹5 to ₹1590.50.
The price of a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder in Kolkata has been reduced from ₹1700.50 to ₹1694.
The price of a 19 kg cylinder in Mumbai, which was earlier priced at ₹1,547, will now be ₹1,542.
The price of a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder in Chennai has been reduced from 1754.50 to 1750.
How much are domestic LPG cylinders available?
Indian Oil has also updated the prices of 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinders. However, the old prices will remain applicable. The price of a domestic gas cylinder in Delhi is ₹853, while in Mumbai it is ₹852.50. No change has been made by the oil marketing companies.
Domestic gas cylinder prices have remained stable since April 2025. It is worth mentioning that the price of domestic LPG cylinder was increased by Rs 50 on April 8, 2025. Since then, the price in Delhi has reached Rs 853, and this rate is applicable till now. The central government had made the biggest cut on domestic cylinders in August 2023. At that time, the government had reduced the price by Rs 200, which gave a lot of relief to the common people.
