LPG price changed today: A big reduction has been made in the prices of LPG before Rakshabandhan. Oil marketing companies have cut the prices of 19 kg commercial LPG gas cylinders by Rs 33.50 across the country. The new price of LPG cylinder has come into effect from today i.e. 1 August 2025. However, no change has been made in the price of LPG yet.
The prices of 14 kg LPG cylinders are unchanged. The price of 14 kg cylinder was last changed on 8 April, but there has been no change in it since then. It was expected that the price of LPG could be reduced in view of Rakshabandhan festival, but no change has been made yet.
Price of commercial cylinder from Delhi to Mumbai
According to the website of IOCL, new prices applicable from August 1 – The price of 19 kg LPG cylinder in Delhi has become Rs 1,631.50. Earlier its price was Rs 1,665. In July 2025, the price of 19 kg cylinder was Rs 1,769 in Kolkata and Rs 1,616.50 in Mumbai. Here also a reduction of Rs 33 has been made on every 19 kg cylinder.
- Currently Rs 1631.50 in Delhi, which was earlier Rs 1665.
- New price in Kolkata is Rs 1734.50, earlier it was Rs 1769.
- New rate in Mumbai is Rs 1582.50, earlier it was Rs 1616.
- New price in Chennai is Rs 1789, earlier it was Rs 1823.50.
Who will get relief?
The reduction in the price of commercial LPG cylinders is expected to provide relief to businessmen associated with catering, hotel-restaurants and food industry. All of them use commercial LPG cylinders.
Price of LPG cylinder
There has been no change in the price of 14 kg LPG cylinder. The price of this 14.3 kg domestic LPG cylinder has not changed since April 8, 2025. Its price in Delhi is Rs 853, while in Mumbai it is Rs 852.50, in Lucknow it is Rs 890.50, in Patna it is Rs 942.50, in Hyderabad it is Rs 905 and in Ghaziabad it is Rs 850.50.
