LPG Price 1 July 2025: Today, on the morning of 1st July, there has been a rain of relief. LPG cylinder has become cheaper by about Rs 60. Oil marketing companies have released new rates of LPG cylinders. According to this new rate, the price of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder has been reduced. At the same time, there has been no change in the price of domestic gas cylinder i.e. 14 kg LPG cylinder.
In Delhi, 19 kg LPG cylinder will now be available for Rs 1665 instead of Rs 1723.50 from today. That is, there has been a reduction of Rs 58.50 here. In Kolkata, commercial cylinder will be available for Rs 1769 from today. Earlier it was available for Rs 1826, now it has become cheaper by Rs 57.
Now the rate of this cylinder in Mumbai has become Rs 1616. It was Rs 1674.50 in June. Earlier i.e. in May it was available for Rs 1699. Here a reduction of Rs 58.50 per cylinder has been made. If we talk about Chennai, then the price of commercial cylinder here has become Rs 1823.50. It was available for Rs 1881 in June.
About 10 crore people get cylinder 300 rupees cheaper
The government gives direct subsidy on domestic cylinders. For example, under the Ujjwala scheme, the beneficiary gets the cylinder ₹ 300 cheaper. In the budget of 2025-26, the government has allocated ₹ 11,100 crore for LPG subsidy. Commercial cylinders do not get any subsidy. These are sold entirely at market price, which naturally makes their price higher.
