State Home Minister Narottam Mishra said that we are going to bring legislation in the Vidhan Sabha against Love Jihad. This would be a non-bailable offense.

The Government of Madhya Pradesh is now going to bring a law to protest against Love Jihah soon. State Home Minister Narottam Mishra said that we are going to bring legislation in the Vidhan Sabha against Love Jihad. This will be a non-bailable offense and a punishment of 5 years will be provided to the guilty.



Earlier in the states of Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Karnataka, it has been said to introduce stricter laws against Love Jihad. Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra said that the Bill for Religious Freedom Act will be presented on the basis of Love Jihad by the Shivraj Singh government in the next assembly session. After taking the form of this law, after registering a case under non-bailable sections, the culprits will be punished with rigorous imprisonment for 5 years.

According to the news published in Loksatta, Narottam Mishra said that those who help for love jihad will also be punished like the main accused and the provision of punishing those who convert for marriage will be done in this law.



At the same time, the person concerned with the conversion of his own will to get married and submit the application to the District Magistrate’s office before 1 month. Not only this, marriages done by coercion or threat or by hiding their identity will be considered void after this law.
