Government insurance company Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has reported a big relief for the insured in this era of corona epidemic. Actually, LIC has provided the facility to switch funds online through ULIP policies ie transfer to each other. According to the statement issued by the company, this facility will be available to those insured who are registered through its Premier Services.
According to LIC, this online fund switching facility will be available for new endowment plans (Plan 935), Investment Plus (Plan 849) and SIIP (Plan 852). There will be no charge to the insured for this service. Only one fund switch will be available on a policy in a day. This process will be completed through one time password ie OTP based authorization system.

Multilingual call center also started
The country’s largest insurance company has also recently launched multilingual call centers. Marathi, Tamil and Bengali languages are available at this call center. The company plans to connect this call center with the regional languages in the coming days. Earlier, till September 2018, call center facility was available only in English and Hindi.
