Is this exclusive to Jio users?

Initially it seemed that the offer was only for Jio SIM users, but reports suggest that some non-Jio users have also gained access. In some cases, users have even gotten a full year’s subscription for just ₹1!

However, there has been no official confirmation from Jio or Hotstar yet, so it is currently considered a testing phase.

How to check if you are eligible or not?

Open the JioHotstar app or website.

Log in with your mobile number (without any active subscription).

Go to the ‘My Space’ section.

Tap ‘Subscribe’ and see if the ₹1 Premium plan is visible.
If displayed, pay using UPI, card, or wallet – activation will be instant.
