ixigo released the results for the first quarter (April-June 2025) of the current financial year after the close of trading on the stock market on Wednesday, July 16. The company said that its net profit in the June quarter grew 27.7 per cent year-on-year to Rs 18.9 crore, as against Rs 14.8 crore in the same quarter last year.
At the same time, the company’s revenue during this period grew by 74.2 percent to Rs 314.4 crore, which was Rs 181.8 crore in the same quarter a year ago. Talking about the operating front, the company’s operating profit (EBITDA) grew by 53.1 percent to Rs 25.5 crore in the June quarter, which was Rs 16.6 crore in the same quarter a year ago. The company’s EBITDA margin was 8.10 percent in the June quarter, which was 9.15 percent in the same quarter a year ago.
The company’s gross transaction value (GTV) grew by 55 percent during the June quarter and stood at Rs 4,644.7 crore. Strong growth in the flight and bus segments helped the company increase its GTV. The GTV of these two segments registered a growth of 81 percent on an annual basis. At the same time, the GTV of the train segment also registered a growth of 30 percent on an annual basis.
At around 9.40 am, ixigo shares were trading at Rs 199.68 on the NSE, up 11.58 per cent. With this, the company’s shares have gained about 38 per cent in the last 6 months. Its current market cap is around Rs 7,800 crore.
