  • First of all login to (https://eportal.incometax.gov.in/).
  • Enter your User ID and click on Continue option. Then login with password.
  • If the password is not remembered, you can create a new password through the forget password option.
  • Click on e-file (click on e-file) on the page which will open on login.
  • After this, you have to choose the File Income Tax Return option.
  • Now select the assessment year 2021-22 and then continue.
  • After this you will get the option of online and offline.
  • You select Online and select Personal option.
  • Then choose either ITR-1 (ITR-1) or ITR-4 option.
  • If you are salaried then you have to choose ITR-1 option.
  • After this the ITR return form will be downloaded on your system.
  • Then on Filling Type select 139(1)- Original Return. This will open the selected form.
  • Keep saving by filling the requested information in it. Fill the bank account details correctly.
  • Verify in the online process and send the hard copy of the return to the Income Tax Department.
