Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has taken out bumper recruitments for the posts of Technical Assistant, Scientific Assistant and Library Assistant. The process of online application for these posts has started and interested candidates can apply till 18 June 2025. Application can be done by visiting ISRO’s official website isro.gov.in or Vikram Sarabhai Space Center (VSSC) site vssc.gov.in.
How many vacancies for which post?
- Technical Assistant (Electronics): 27 posts
- Technical Assistant (Mechanical): 27 posts
- Technical Assistant (Computer Science): 12 posts
- Technical Assistant (Chemical): 8 posts
- Technical Assistant (Civil, Automobile, Refrigeration and AC): 4 posts
- Scientific Assistant (Physics, Chemistry): 5 posts
- Library Assistant-A: 2 posts
What should be the qualification?
Different educational qualifications have been fixed for each post. For the post of Technical Assistant, it is necessary to have a first class diploma in the relevant field. At the same time, first class graduation is required for Scientific Assistant and Graduation and Master’s degree in Library Science is required for Library Assistant.
How much salary will be given?
ISRO is giving a great salary for these posts. Candidates selected for the post of Technical Assistant will get a salary of ₹ 44,900 to ₹ 1,42,400 per month. Not only this, you will also get the benefit of government allowances and promotion.
How will the selection process be?
- Written test – It will have 80 multiple choice questions, which will be solved in 90 minutes. Every correct answer will get 1 mark, while every wrong answer will be deducted by 0.33 marks.
- Skill test – In this, the practical knowledge of the candidate will be tested.
