IRCTC (Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation) is starting a special train tour named ‘Bharat Bhutan Mystic Mountain Tour’ from 28 June 2025. This tour will pass through the beautiful valleys of India and Bhutan and will give the passengers an exciting journey experience for 14 days.
Journey starts from Delhi
This 14 day and 13 nights tour will start from Delhi Safdarjung Railway Station. This special Bharat Gaurav Deluxe AC tourist train will first take the passengers to Guwahati in Assam, then the sightseeing places of Shillong and Cherrapunji in Meghalaya will be shown. After this the train will reach Hasimara railway station in West Bengal, which is located near Phuentsholing in Bhutan.
Places to visit in India
Assam (Guwahati)
First of all, the passengers will be taken to visit the famous Kamakhya temple of Guwahati. This temple is situated on Nilachal mountain and holds a prominent place among the Shaktipeeths.
Meghalaya (Shillong and Cherrapunji)
After this the passengers will go to Shillong and Cherrapunji. The view of sunset on Umiam Lake, Seven Sisters Waterfall in Cherrapunji, Nokhalikai Falls, Elephant Falls and Mawsmai caves will give the travelers a wonderful experience of natural beauty. After visiting Shillong, the passengers will return to Guwahati and after a walk in the Brahmaputra River, the train will leave for Hasimara.
Tour of Bhutan
After reaching Hasimara railway station, passengers will go to Phuentsholing located on the border of Bhutan, where the immigration process will be completed. After this they will visit beautiful places like Thimpu, Punakha and Paro.
