Infosys joining it for the insurance of its employees is a big achievement for GoDigit. IT company Infosys has changed the insurer for the insurance of its employees. Earlier the employees were insured by the government company National Insurance Company (NIC). Now in its place, Infosys has chosen private company GoDigit as its new group health insurance provider. This information has been received from an internal mail accessed by Moneycontrol. The reason behind why the company has severed ties with NIC is not yet known.
GoDigit will cover more than 3.2 lakh employees of Infosys. Infosys’ employee benefit expenses increased by about 4 percent to Rs 67,466 crore in FY 2025. Infosys partnered with Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) in September last year.

The stock of Go Digit General Insurance Limited closed at Rs 350.75 on BSE on July 18. The market cap of the company is Rs 32300 crore. The stock has gained 20 percent in 6 months. The company will release the financial results for the April-June 2025 quarter on July 28.
