Private airline IndiGo has announced the launch of its first non-stop flight from Mumbai to Amsterdam. This flight service will start from July 2, 2025. According to the information given by the company, IndiGo flights will be available three times a week on this route. IndiGo also announced that hot food and beverages will be served to all passengers on this route. Let us tell you that the company is expanding in Europe through Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft.

You can book flights on IndiGo’s official website www.goIndiGo.in. Apart from this, booking of Mumbai to Amsterdam flight is available on all channels including mobile app and authorized travel partners.

What did the company official say

IndiGo Chief Executive Officer Peter Elbers said- I am thrilled to launch IndiGo’s flight to Amsterdam. We are making the way easier for passengers traveling to Europe for leisure, business and education. The Netherlands and India share a strong and thriving bilateral relationship.

Let us tell you that currently, 16 airlines operate between India and Europe, which is reduced to 18 in 2024. Air India leads the market with a 30.2 percent share. It is followed by Lufthansa (14.3 percent) and British Airways (12.4 percent). IndiGo is fourth with an 8.8 percent share.

Many aircraft orders

IndiGo, which currently operates a fleet of over 400 aircraft, has orders for over 900 aircraft. Recently IndiGo has entered into a wet lease agreement with Norse Atlantic Airways for Boeing 787-9 aircraft, which will be deployed for long-haul operations until the arrival of its own 30 Airbus A350-900 aircraft in 2027.
