IndiGo has announced the launch of direct flights between Mumbai and Madinah. The daily service, which will commence from November 15, will provide passengers with an affordable and convenient travel experience.
IndiGo Airlines has said that it will start daily direct flights from Mumbai to Medina in Saudi Arabia. This new service will start on November 15, 2025. The airline has deployed its Airbus A320 aircraft on this route. This new direct flight of IndiGo will give a boost to religious travel as well as business and tourism.
According to IndiGo, bookings for the new flights have begun on IndiGo’s official website www.goIndiGo.in , mobile app and official travel companion portal. IndiGo currently operates over 150 flights between four major cities in India and Saudi Arabia. These cities already include Jeddah, Riyadh and Dammam-Madinah. With the launch of the new service between Mumbai-Madinah, IndiGo has become the first Indian airline to offer direct connectivity between these two cities.
Hyderabad to have daily flight to Madinah
According to IndiGo, the existing weekly flights from Hyderabad to Madinah will also be operated daily from November 16. The move comes at a time when religious tourism, trade and workforce movement between India and Saudi Arabia is growing rapidly. Regarding this flight, IndiGo’s Head of Sales, Vinay Malhotra said, “Madinah is a city of deep cultural and spiritual significance for pilgrims from all over the world. The number of passengers from India is continuously increasing.”
He said that IndiGo is launching direct flights between Mumbai and Madinah to provide a convenient and better option to passengers. This move will strengthen IndiGo’s international network.
