Long distance travel from Delhi is now going to be easy and convenient through Sleeper Vande Bharat. Railways is preparing to start Sleeper Vande Bharat on the route from Delhi to Bhopal, Ahmedabad and Patna before Diwali this year. The timing of the train to Patna has also been revealed.

The maximum speed of this train has been kept at 180 kmph. Due to this, on many routes, this train is taking only half the time as compared to other trains. Routes like Delhi to Ahmedabad, Bhopal and Patna are very long and take more than one night. In such a situation, to limit this time and in view of the increasing demand for comfortable travel, the railways have decided to start Vande Bharat Sleeper from these stations. There were already reports that by the end of this year, operation of Sleeper Vande Bharat could start on many routes.
What will be the timing of Vande Bharat Sleeper from Delhi to Patna
Vande Bharat is currently the fastest train in the country. This train reaches its destination earlier than Rajdhani Express and Shatabdi. According to the information received so far, the proposed sleeper Vande Bharat will depart from Patna at 8 pm and reach Delhi at 7:30 am. The timing for Delhi to Patna will also be the same. An official said that our effort is to run this train on busy routes. These trains can be announced at the end of September and operations can start anytime in the beginning of October.
There is a lot of demand on the Delhi to Ahmedabad route
The Vande Bharat trains running till now have chair car service. Due to the convenience of sitting and travelling, these are being run only during the day. But now sleeper Vande Bharat trains will be run for overnight journey. This will save people’s time and they will be able to travel comfortably in an overnight journey of 1000 kms or even more from Delhi. The route from Delhi to Ahmedabad is also very busy and there is a demand for premium trains on this route.
