Indian Railways: If you too often travel by train, then you must read this news. The journey of Indian Railways is now going to be more secure than before. For this, the Railways is preparing to make a big change.

Travel will be safer than ever

Railway’s East Central Railway Zone (ECR) will install advanced signaling system ‘Kavach’ for smooth running of trains passing through its zone.

After its setup is ready, the journey of the railway will be more secure than before. A 2,000 km network will be created under the indigenously developed world-class technology Kavach.

Indigenously developed ‘ Kavach’ technology

This technology will make the rail network safe and also increase its capacity. Kavach is an indigenous technique. It has been developed in the country itself.

Virendra Kumar, Chief Public Relations Officer (CPRO) of East Central Railway Zone said that this system will be installed on Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Junction, Gaya (Gaya) Dhanbad (Dhanbad) Grand Chord route.

Permission to run train at 130 kmph

A tender worth Rs 151 crore has also been issued for this technology. Virendra Kumar told Hindustan Times that the 408 km long Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction-Gaya-Dhanbad Grand Chord route is an important rail route in our country covering 77 stations and 79 level crossing gates. Permission has been given to run trains on this route at a speed of 130 kmph.

How does the armor system work?

This system communicates between locomotives and stations through radio communication by satellite. Through this system, while the loco pilot gets to know about the status of incoming signals on one hand, on the other hand it also gets to know about the interruption / stop on the line.
