Indian Railway Special Train: Good news for rail passengers. Indian Railways has decided to run more than a dozen special trains in June-July, which will run on different dates via UP, Bihar, Jharkhand and MP. Apart from this, a dozen trains have been canceled.

Train number 26502/26501 Patliputra-Gorakhpur-Patliputra Vande Bharat will run six days a week from June 22, except Saturdays. Vande Bharat train will cover the distance of 384 km from Gorakhpur to Patliputra in 07:05 hours. It will return from Patliputra to Gorakhpur in seven hours.

Special train will run in June-July

• Train number 03043 Howrah Raxaul Express will leave on June 21 and 28 at 11 pm and will reach Raxaul the very next day. In the return journey, train number 03044 will leave Raxaul on June 8, 15, 22 and 29 at 5:30 pm and reach Howrah the next day.
• Train number 03435 Malda Town Anand Vihar Malda Town Special will leave Malda Town on June 23 and 30 at 9:30 am. Train number 03436 will leave Anand Vihar on June 17, 24 and July 1 at 3:45 pm.
• Train number 08379 Birmitrapur-Puri Rath Yatra Special will leave on June 25 and July 4 at 6 am and reach Puri at 9:15 pm. In the return journey, train number 08380 will leave Puri on June 27 and July 6 at 11:40 pm and reach Badampahar at 3 pm. The train will stop at several major stations like Tatanagar, Ghatshila, Chakulia, Jhargram and Baleshwar.
• Train No. 08037 Santragachi-Puri-Santragachi Special will leave on 25 June and 03 July at 4:40 pm and reach Puri at 5 am the next day. Return train number 08038 from Puri will leave on 28 June and 06 July at 12:15 pm and reach Santragachi at 1:30 pm.
• Train No. 08381 Bangriposi-Puri-Bangriposi MEMU Special will leave Bangriposi on 26 June and 4 July at 8:35 am and reach Puri at 6:30 pm. Return train will leave Puri on 28 June and 06 July at 6:15 pm and reach Bangriposi at 6 am the next day.
• Train number 08387 Baleshwar-Puri-Baleshwar MEMU Special will leave Baleshwar on 26 June and 4 July at 6:25 pm and reach Puri at 1:30 am the next day, while in return train 08388 will leave Puri at 2 pm and reach Baleshwar at 8 am the same day.
• Train number 08389 Barbil-Puri-Barbil Special will leave Barbil on 25 June and 4 July at 5 pm and reach Puri at 4:15 am the next day. Return train number 08390 from Puri will leave on 27 June and 6 July at 9:40 pm and reach Barbil at 10 am the next day.
• Train number 08385 Rourkela-Puri-Rourkela Special will leave on 25 June and 04 July at 10:20 am and reach Puri at 11:15 pm the same night. In the return journey, train number 08386 will leave Puri at 3 am on 28 June and 06 July and reach Rourkela at 3:50 pm.
• Train number 08376 Birmitrapur-Puri Special will leave Birmitrapur at 6 pm on 25 June and 04 July and reach Puri at 9:45 am the next morning. In the return journey, train number 08377 will leave Puri at 10:45 pm on 27 June and 06 July and reach Birmitrapur at 11:05 am the next day.
• Train No. 02199 Veerangana Laxmibai Jhansi Bandra Terminus Superfast Special will leave Veerangana Laxmibai Jhansi Railway Station every Thursday at 16.50 hrs from 03 July, 2025 to 25 September, 2025 and reach Bandra Terminus on Friday at 16.10 hrs via Maksi Jn. (03.05/03.07, Friday), Ujjain (03.50/04.00), Nagda (05.08/05.10), Ratlam (06.05/06.15) and Dahod (07.39/07.41) of Ratlam Division.
• Train No. 02200 Bandra Terminus Veerangna Laxmibai Jhansi Superfast Special will leave Bandra Terminus every Saturday at 05.10 am from 05 July 2025 to 27 September 2025 via Dahod (12.43/12.45), Ratlam (14.30/14.40), Nagda (15.43/15.45) Ujjain (16.55/17.10) and Maksi (18.00/18.02) of Ratlam division and reach Veerangna Laxmibai Jhansi Railway Station on Sunday at 05.00 am.
• Train number 03480 Jamalpur-Sultanganj Shravani Mela Passenger Special will depart from Jamalpur at 09:05 am from 11 July to 9 August 2025 and reach Sultanganj at 10:45 am on the same day. 03479 Sultanganj-Jamalpur Shravani Mela Passenger Special will depart from Sultanganj at 11:15 hrs and reach Jamalpur at 12:40 hrs.
• Train No. 03442 Jamalpur – Deoghar Shravani Mela Passenger Special will leave Jamalpur every Sunday between 13.07.2025 and 10.08.2025 at 05:10 hrs and reach Deoghar at 10:10 hrs same day and 03441 Deoghar – Jamalpur Shravani Mela Passenger Special will leave Deoghar at 15:45 hrs and reach Jamalpur at 22:05 hrs same day.
• Train number 03444 Deoghar-Godda Shravani Mela Passenger Special will leave Deoghar at 10:45 am every Sunday between 13.07.2025 and 10.08.2025 and reach Godda at 12:40 pm on the same day and 03443 Godda-Deoghar Shravani Mela Passenger Special train will leave Godda at 13:15 pm and reach Deoghar at 15:05 pm on the same day.
• Train number 02023 Howrah-Patna Summer Special train will run from 13 July to 10 August. This train will leave Howrah every Sunday at 2:15 pm and reach Patna at 10:30 pm. In return, train number 02024 Patna-Howrah Summer Special train will run from 13 July to 10 August. This train will leave Patna every Sunday at 5:30 am and reach Howrah at 1:25 pm on the same day.
• Train number 04125 Subedar Ganj Bandra Terminus Superfast Special will depart from Subedar Ganj every Monday at 05.20 hrs from 7th July to 29th September and will reach Bandra Terminus on Tuesday at 09.30 hrs via Ratlam of Ratlam Division (22.25/22.35, Monday). In return, train number 04126 Bandra Terminus Subedar Ganj Special will depart from Bandra Terminus every Tuesday at 11.15 hrs from 8th July to 30th September and will reach Subedar Ganj on Wednesday at 17.00 hrs via Ratlam of Ratlam Division (20.35/20.45, Tuesday).

These trains will remain cancelled in June

• Jhargram-Dhanbad-Jhargram MEMU on 23 June, Tatanagar-Chakradharpur-Tatanagar MEMU, Chaibasa-Tatanagar-Chaibasa MEMU, Tatanagar-Badampahar-Tatanagar MEMU will remain cancelled from 21 to 23 June.
• Tatanagar-Rourkela-Tatanagar MEMU will remain cancelled on 22 June.
• Tatanagar-Badampahar-Tatanagar MEMU, Barkakana-Tatanagar-Barkakana MEMU, Chakradharpur-Tatanagar-Chakradharpur MEMU, Tatanagar-Kharagpur MEMU, Kharagpur-Tatanagar MEMU cancelled from 21 to 23 June.
• Bandra-Gorakhpur Superfast cancelled at Gomtinagar on 30 June.
• 15031/32 Gorakhpur Junction Lucknow, 15070 Aishbagh-Gorakhpur Junction,
  15081/82 Gomtinagar-Gorakhpur Junction and 15033/34 Lucknow Patliputra Express cancelled from 1st to 4th July.
• 15069 Gorakhpur Junction Aishbagh Express cancelled from 2nd to 5th July, 22424 Amritsar-Gorakhpur Junction Express cancelled on 29th June, 22423 Gorakhpur Junction Amritsar cancelled on 30th June.
• 14010 Anand Vihar-Bapudham Motihari Express cancelled from 25th June to 2nd July and 14009 Bapudham Motihari Anand Vihar Express cancelled from 26th June to 3rd July.

Update on Patliputra-Gorakhpur-Patliputra Vande Bharat

• Train number 26502/26501 Patliputra-Gorakhpur-Patliputra Vande Bharat will run six days a week except Saturday. Vande Bharat train will cover the distance of 384 km from Gorakhpur to Patliputra in 07:05 hours. It will return from Patliputra to Gorakhpur in seven hours.
• This train will run only six days a week. It will leave Patliputra at 3.30 pm, reach Muzaffarpur at 5 pm and Gorakhpur at 10.30 pm.
• This train will leave Gorakhpur at 05:40 am and reach Patliputra at 12:45 pm via Kaptanganj, Bagaha, Narkatiaganj, Muzaffarpur and Hajipur. It will leave Patliputra at 03:30 pm and reach Gorakhpur at 10:30 pm.
• This train will leave Gorakhpur at 05:40 am and reach Patliputra at 12:45 pm via Kaptanganj, Bagaha, Narkatiaganj, Muzaffarpur and Hajipur. It will leave Patliputra at 03:30 pm and reach Gorakhpur at 10:30 pm. Executive Class (EC) fare from Patliputra Junction to Gorakhpur is Rs. 1820 and Chair Car (CC) is Rs. 925. Similar fare from Muzaffarpur to Patliputra is Rs. 840 and CC is Rs. 440. EC fare from Gorakhpur is Rs. 565 and CC is Rs. 790.
