Indian Air Force 2025: A golden opportunity has come for the youth dreaming of serving the country. The Indian Air Force (IAF) has released the official notification for recruitment to Airman Group-Y posts. This is a great opportunity for the candidates who want to serve the nation by joining the Air Force. Under the recruitment process, online applications will start from July 11, 2025 and the last date has been fixed as July 31, 2025.
Interested candidates can apply by visiting the official website of the Air Force airmenselection.cdac.in. Although the total number of posts has not been announced at the moment, the recruitment process will be completely transparent and based on merit.
What should be the eligibility?
To apply in this recruitment, the candidate must have scored a minimum of 50 percent marks in class 12th with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English subjects from a board recognized by the Government of India. Apart from this, candidates who have done Diploma or BSc in Pharmacy can also apply, provided their marks are also at least 50%.
Will get good salary
The selected candidates will get a stipend of 14,600 per month during the first training. After completion of the training, they will be given a salary of about 26,900 per month under the military pay scale. Apart from this, other allowances and facilities will also be provided by the Indian Air Force.
Physical parameters are also important
Not only education, fitness is also necessary to join the Air Force. The height, weight, chest width and hearing power of the candidate should be as per the standards set by the Air Force. The minimum circumference of the chest should be 77 cm and the hearing power should be so much that even a whisper can be heard from 6 meters away.
How will the selection process be?
Candidates will be selected on the basis of written examination, in which 12th level questions related to English, reasoning and general awareness will be asked. The duration of the exam will be 45 minutes. In this, 1 mark will be given for the correct answer while 0.25 marks will be deducted for the wrong answer.
This much application fee will have to be paid
While applying online, candidates will also have to deposit an application fee of Rs 550, which can be paid through net banking, debit card or other online means. For more details, candidates can take help of the official site.
