IMD Weather News: Latest information about Punjab’s weather has come out. The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rain in the coming days. According to IMD Chandigarh, a heavy rain warning has been issued on September 12-13-14.

Along with this, people have been appealed to be careful. Cabinet Minister Harjot Singh Bains has alerted the people by sharing information about this on his Facebook page. He has said that 5000 cusecs of water are being increased from Bhakra Dam, because the Meteorological Department has warned of heavy rain on September 12,13,14. He said that the Meteorological Department has issued a heavy rain alert. We will have to be alert again for the next 3-4 days.

According to the Meteorological Department, clouds are coming from Uttar Pradesh and will become active in Punjab in 1-2 days. Therefore, additional water is being released from Bhakra Dam. Let us tell you that there is a possibility of rain in the districts of Pathankot, Gurdaspur, Hoshiarpur, Kapurthala, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Nawanshahr, Mohali, Fatehgarh Sahib, Patiala and Rupnagar.

According to the report of the Indian Meteorological Department, the cyclonic circulation formed over the Bay of Bengal is affecting Sikkim, Bengal, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh and Assam. Due to this, a heavy rain alert has been issued in many states of East India. According to the report of the Meteorological Department, there is a heavy rain alert for the next three to four days in states like Darjeeling, Sikkim, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Manipur, Mizoram, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Bihar and Jharkhand. Along with this, many parts of West India will remain dry, there is no rain warning here. However, the Meteorological Department said that there is a possibility of rain in Marathwada on September 12 and 13, Konkan Goa and Madhya Maharashtra on September 13 and 14.

The department said that due to the low pressure area in the Arabian Sea and the cyclonic circulation formed over the Bay of Bengal, south Odisha, coastal Andhra Pradesh and Himalayan West Bengal, and the monsoon trough moving from Sriganganagar in Rajasthan towards Patna via Barabanki in Uttar Pradesh, heavy rainfall is likely over Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha and many parts of Andhra Pradesh and West Bengal. The Meteorological Department said that heavy rainfall is likely over Bihar on September 15, over West Madhya Pradesh till 17, over Jharkhand on 15 and 16 and over Darjeeling and Sikkim on September 13.

The Meteorological Department has predicted that a new depression will form in the next 24 hours due to the cyclonic circulation formed in the Bay of Bengal, which will affect the weather of Telangana, Maharashtra and Karnataka. Due to this, there will be heavy rainfall in North Karnataka, Telangana and border Maharashtra between September 13 and 16.
