A cyclonic circulation remains over northwest Uttar Pradesh and adjoining areas. At the same time, a trough line is also extending from northwest Uttar Pradesh to Telangana crossing Madhya Pradesh and Vidarbha. Another western disturbance is also present. Due to these seasonal activities, heavy rains may occur in many areas in the coming days. Heat is expected to increase in many areas.
According to the Meteorological Department, rain is likely at most places in Kerala and Mahe, Karnataka, Lakshadweep during the next 7 days. Very heavy rains may occur in many areas. Strong winds will also blow at many places.
Very heavy rains are likely over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal, Kerala and Mahe during June 12 to 16. Heavy to very heavy rains are likely over coastal Karnataka on June 16, over Kerala and Mahe during June 14 to 16.
According to the IMD, light to moderate rains are likely at some places over Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Konkan and Goa on June 11 along with thunderstorms, lightning and strong winds with a speed of 30 to 50 kmph.
Stormy winds are likely at isolated places over Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Konkan and Goa during June 12 to 14. Very heavy rains are likely over Marathwada during June 11 to 14, over Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra during June 12 to 16 and extremely heavy rains over Konkan and Goa on June 13 and 14.
Light to moderate rain is likely to continue at some places over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim during the next 7 days. Light to moderate rain is likely at some places over Andaman and Nicobar Islands during June 11 to 12 with thunderstorms, lightning and strong winds at the speed of 40 to 50 kmph.
Thunderstorms are likely at isolated places over Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal and Sikkim during June 11 to 14, Jharkhand, Odisha, Bihar during June 13 to 16 and Vidarbha on June 11 and 12, Chhattisgarh during June 11 to 14, Bihar on June 12 and 13.

Heavy rain is likely at isolated places over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya during 11th to 16th June, heavy rain is likely over Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura during 10th to 16th June.
