According to the Meteorological Department, Kerala, Mahe, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Rayalaseema and Telangana are likely to receive scattered to moderate rainfall with thunder, lightning and strong winds of 30-50 kmph in the next 7 days.

Light to moderate rains with thunder, lightning and strong winds of 40 to 50 kmph may occur in Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra and Marathwada during 21 to 24 May.
On 22 and 24 May, strong winds of 50 to 70 kmph are likely in Saurashtra and Kutch.
