Heavy Rain Alert: The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of heavy rain in the next few days. A heavy rain alert has been issued in the plains of Odisha, Jharkhand and West Bengal. A low pressure area has formed over the North Bay of Bengal. Due to this, a horrific form of rain will be seen. Know what the Meteorological Department said.

Heavy Rain Alert: According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of very heavy rain in the hilly areas of Vidarbha (Maharashtra), Chhattisgarh, Konkan and Madhya Maharashtra on July 26. Heavy rain may occur in West Madhya Pradesh on 26 and 27 July. An alert has also been issued regarding heavy rain in East Madhya Pradesh on July 26 and East Rajasthan on July 27. Apart from this, monsoon will remain active in Central India, East India, West Coast and hilly areas for the next 4 to 5 days and rain will continue.

There is a possibility of heavy rain in the next few days. Very heavy rains may occur at some places in West Madhya Pradesh on 26 and 27 July, and in East Madhya Pradesh on 26 July. The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy to very heavy rains at many places in Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, West Bengal (Ganga plains) and Jharkhand from 26 to 30 July.

Heavy rains likely in Kerala and coastal Karnataka

Heavy to very heavy rains may occur in Kerala and coastal Karnataka from 26 to 29 July. Heavy rains are expected in South Interior Karnataka from 26 to 27 July. Heavy rains may occur in Tamil Nadu and North Interior Karnataka from 26 to 27 July. Heavy rains are likely in Telangana, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam (part of Puducherry) on 26 July.

Heavy rains will occur in Saurashtra and Kutch from 26 to 29 July

Very heavy rains may occur at some places in the hilly areas of Konkan and Central Maharashtra on 26 July. Heavy to very heavy rains are likely at isolated places over Konkan and Goa, Ghat areas of Madhya Maharashtra and South Gujarat (Gujarat region) from 26 to 29 July. Marathwada may receive heavy rains on 26 July. Heavy rains are expected over Saurashtra and Kutch from 26 to 29 July.

Very heavy rains will occur in some areas of Rajasthan

Very heavy rains are likely over some areas of East Rajasthan on 27 July. Very heavy rains may also occur over East Rajasthan on 26, 28 and 29 July. Very heavy rains are expected over Uttarakhand on 27 and 28 July. Very heavy rains may occur over Western Uttar Pradesh on 28 July. Heavy rains are likely over Jammu and Kashmir between 29 and 31 July. From 26 to 31 July, heavy rains may occur at isolated places over Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, East Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh. Heavy rain is forecast in Haryana from 27 to 29 July and in western Rajasthan from 27 to 30 July.
