The Meteorological Department has issued an alert and warned of heavy rains along with thunderstorms and lightning for the next 6 days from today.
The rainy season has started in many parts of the country. Somewhere it is raining more, somewhere it is raining less and somewhere it is raining intermittently. Monsoon has not yet reached all the states. Rain has become a cause of trouble for the people in many parts of Northeast India and due to this there has been floods. If we look at the weather of the northwestern states, then the heat is very high due to which people are in bad condition. Meanwhile, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a Heavy Rain Warning. According to the IMD, there will be heavy rain in many places from today for the next 6 days and an alert has also been issued for thunderstorms and lightning.
There will be heavy rain in these states
- According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy rain in Rayalaseema on June 13. Heavy rain is likely at isolated places over Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra and Marathwada on 13th and 14th June. Heavy rain is likely over Andaman and Nicobar Islands on 13th June. Heavy rain is likely over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim during 13-15th June.
- Heavy rain is likely over Coastal and South Interior Karnataka during 13-16th June. Heavy rain is likely over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab and Haryana during 13-17th June. Heavy rain is likely over many places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Telangana, Odisha, Karnataka, Kerala and Uttarakhand during 13-18th June.
- Very heavy rain is likely over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal on 14th and 15th June and over Kerala during 14-17th June. Heavy rainfall is likely at isolated places over Madhya Maharashtra on 14th and 15th June. Heavy rainfall is likely over Vidarbha and Chhattisgarh during 14th-18th June. Very heavy rainfall is likely over Konkan, West Bengal and Goa during 16th-18th June.
Light/moderate rain and thunderstorm accompanied with lightning will occur in these states
- According to the Meteorological Department, light/moderate rain along with thunderstorm, lightning and strong winds with speed of 30-40 kmph are likely at some places over Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Konkan and Goa during 13th-16th June. Thunderstorm (wind speed may increase from 50-60 kmph to 70 kmph) is likely over Gujarat state during 13th-15th June.
- Light/moderate rainfall is likely to continue at some places over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim during next 6 days and lightning and gusty winds reaching 40-50 kmph are likely over Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal and Sikkim during 13-16 June. Thunderstorms (wind speed increasing to 50-60 kmph gusting to 70 kmph) are likely at isolated places over Vidarbha during 13-16 June, Chhattisgarh on 13th June, Bihar on 14th June and Madhya Pradesh during 14-16 June.
- Light/moderate rainfall is likely at some places over Uttarakhand during 13-18 June, thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds reaching 40-50 kmph are likely over Himachal Pradesh during 15-18 June.
How will the weather be in Rajasthan?
At present, the weather of Rajasthan is very hot and is troubling people. But according to the Meteorological Department, the weather is going to change. Heavy rain is likely at some places in Rajasthan during 13-17 June. There is a possibility of thunderstorms (wind speed of 50-60 kmph may increase to 70 kmph) at different places in eastern Rajasthan on 14 and 15 June. There is a possibility of dust storms in western Rajasthan during 14-18 June.
