Heavy Rain Alert: India’s Meteorological Department (IMD Alert) has warned of heavy rain today. Along with rain, an alert has also been issued about hailstorm today and during the coming days.

Heavy rain may occur in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Kerala today. India’s Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert in all these places.
The weather may remain bad in the coming days due to winds coming from the Bay of Bengal in central and eastern India. Strong winds at a speed of 30 to 50 kmph and rain have been predicted in West Bengal and Sikkim from March 20 to March 22, in Bihar and Vidarbha on March 21 and 22, in eastern Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh on March 19 to 22 and in western Madhya Pradesh on March 20 and 21.
During 20 to 22 March, there may be rain with strong winds of up to 60 kmph along with thunderstorms in West Bengal, Jharkhand and Odisha. Hailstorms may also occur at all these places.
A yellow alert (Weather Update Latest News) has been issued by the India Meteorological Department (IMD Alert) in Konkan, North Interior Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka along with some other parts of Saurashtra, Kutch and Gujarat due to hot and humid weather.
