IMD Rain Alert: Big news! Very heavy rain alert with thunder and lightning on 4,5,6,7,8,9 and 10 August, check details

IMD Rain Alert: Heavy to very heavy rains are continuing in many areas of the country. The India Meteorological Department has predicted that heavy to very heavy rains may occur in the Northeast and adjoining eastern India during the next 7 days. At the same time, there is devastating rain in many areas of North India. Heavy rains are falling in Rajasthan, Bihar, UP and other states. Many areas are flooded.

Weather Forecast: Heavy rains are continuing in many states of North India. Many rivers including Ganga and Yamuna are in spate. There is a flood-like situation in many areas. Flood water has entered the roads and people’s homes.

There is a flood situation in many areas of Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar. Many rivers are in spate due to heavy rains in Bihar in the past few days. Many major roads and many low-lying areas were submerged after continuous rain in Patna on Sunday.

The India Meteorological Department has predicted that heavy to very heavy rains may occur in the Northeast and adjoining eastern India during the next 7 days.

The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for many districts including Patna, Gayaji, Jamui, Aurangabad, Khagaria, Banka, Vaishali, Samastipur, Sheikhpura, Lakhisarai, East Champaran, Arwal, West Champaran and Nawada for the next 48 hours.

Rain continues in many areas of Rajasthan. According to IMD, the rain will continue next week as well. According to the Meteorological Center Jaipur, moderate to heavy rain is likely in the north-eastern parts of the state for the next three-four days.

The Meteorological Department estimates that there is a possibility of rain in Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, North Bihar.

According to IMD, heavy to very heavy rain is likely in Tamil Nadu, Kerala during the next 6 to 7 days.

The India Meteorological Department has forecast heavy to very heavy rains with thunder and lightning in various parts of Guwahati city in the next two-three days.

Many districts of Arunachal Pradesh may receive heavy rains accompanied by thunderstorms in the next 24 hours.
