Heavy rain will occur in these states till August 4

According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rain is likely in Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh during 30 July to 4 August, in Jammu and Kashmir during 29-31, in Uttar Pradesh on 29, 30 July, 3 and 4 August, in Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh on 3 and 4 August, in East Rajasthan on 1 and 2 August and in some places in Western Rajasthan on 30 and 31 July.

Heavy rainfall is likely at some places in Madhya Pradesh during 30-31 July. In Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Bihar during 30 July to 4 August; in Jharkhand, Gangetic West Bengal, Chhattisgarh on 30 July; in Bihar on 30 July; in western Madhya Pradesh on 30 July; extremely heavy rainfall is likely at some places in Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim during 2-4 August.

Strong winds likely for next 5 days

Light to moderate rainfall, thunderstorms, lightning and strong winds (speed reaching 30-40 kmph) are likely at most/many places in this region during the next 5 days.
