Heavy Rain Alert: The Indian Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains in different parts of the country during the next 5 days. According to the latest reports released by the Meteorological Department, many parts of the country may receive up to 21 cm of rain. Thunderstorms and storms are expected. The IMD has issued a high alert.

Heavy Rain Alert: The Indian Meteorological Department has forecast that active monsoon conditions are likely to continue in the central parts of the country for the next 4 to 5 days, with extremely heavy rains likely in isolated parts of southeast Madhya Pradesh. According to the IMD, winds can blow at a speed of 40 to 50 kmph during this period. Also, thunderstorms and storms are likely in many parts of the country. The IMD has issued an alert for many states.

Weather of East and Central India

Heavy rainfall is likely to continue in Madhya Pradesh from July 10 to July 15; in Vidarbha during July 10 to 11; in Chhattisgarh on July 11 and July 14-15; Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim are likely to receive rain on July 13. Along with this, heavy rains may occur in Gangetic plains West Bengal on July 14. Jharkhand may receive very heavy rainfall on July 10 and Odisha during July 13 to 15.

North-West India

Uttarakhand is likely to receive rain with thunder and lightning during July 09-15, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Haryana Chandigarh are likely to receive heavy rains on July 10. Heavy rains have been predicted in Himachal Pradesh on July 10 and during July 13 to 15. Heavy rains with thunderstorms are likely in West Uttar Pradesh during July 10 to 13 and in East Uttar Pradesh during July 10 to 11. Along with this, very heavy rains are likely in West Rajasthan during July 12 to 15.

Weather of West India

According to the Indian Meteorological Department, heavy rainfall is likely in Konkan and Goa during July 10 to 15. Apart from this, heavy rains are expected in many parts of Gujarat during July 10 to 15; rain is likely in the Ghat areas of Madhya Maharashtra on July 10. Apart from this, rain is likely in Kutch on July 12 and 13.

North-East India

According to the Indian Meteorological Department, light to moderate rainfall with thunder and lightning is likely to continue in most places of North-East India during the next 7 days. Heavy rainfall is likely in Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura during July 10 to 15; Very heavy rainfall may occur in Arunachal Pradesh during July 11-15.
