For the last few days, reports of postponement of T20 World Cup were continuously coming out. All eyes were on the ICC meeting to be held on Thursday. “The current situation was discussed by the board members on their own issues and it was felt that there was an urgent need to maintain the purity and also to keep confidential the affairs of the board,” the meeting was told after the meeting.

“It is proposed to conduct an immediate independent inquiry by consensus which will be done by the ICC Ethical Officer by global experts. This will be conveyed to the board in the next meeting of the ICC CEO to be held on 10 June 2020”.
