IB Recruitment 2025: Intelligence Bureau has issued official notification for recruitment to the posts of Security Assistant and Executive. If you also want to apply for the post of Security Assistant or Executive in Intelligence Bureau, then you can apply for these posts. Let us tell you, through this recruitment process, a total of 4987 eligible candidates will be appointed by the Intelligence Bureau. Also, the application process for these posts has started today from 26th July, 2025. Interested and eligible candidates can apply through online mode till 17th August, 2025. Also, candidates can pay the fees online till 19th August, 2025.
Qualification Required and Salary
To apply for the post of Security Assistant or Executive, candidates must have completed class 10th and other equivalent eligibility from a recognized board of India. Apart from this, the selected candidates will be given a salary of Rs 21,700 to Rs 69,100 per month.
Age limit
To apply for these posts, the minimum age of the candidates has been fixed as 18 years and maximum age as 27 years as on 17 August 2025. However, candidates will also be given age relaxation. SC and ST candidates have been given 5 years age relaxation and OBC candidates have been given 3 years age relaxation.
This is how the selection will be done
Candidates will be selected in three stages. In the Tier-1 exam, candidates will be asked questions of 100 marks from General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, English and General Studies. The duration of the exam has been fixed for one hour. Also, there will be negative marking of one-third marks for every wrong answer in the exam. Candidates successful in the Tier-1 exam will be invited for Tier-2. Tier-2 exam will be conducted for 50 marks. This exam will also be conducted for one hour. An interview of 50 marks will be conducted for the candidates selected in the Tier-2 exam.
