The country’s intelligence agency Intelligence Bureau (IB) has released the official notification for recruitment to 4987 posts of Security Assistant/Executive Post. Eligible and interested candidates can apply in online mode by visiting the official website mha.gov.in or ncs.gov.in. The application process has started from July 26, 2025 and the last date to apply for the post has been fixed as August 17, 2025. Therefore, candidates who are thinking of applying should apply before the last date.
Qualification
The candidates who are thinking of applying must have a 10th degree from any recognized board. Along with this, the candidates should have knowledge of the local language.
Age Limit
The age limit of the candidates applying has also been fixed. According to which, the minimum age should not be more than 18 years and the maximum age should not be more than 27 years. At the same time, the maximum age limit of the candidates coming from the reserved category will be relaxed as per the rules. Let us tell you, the age of the candidates will be calculated on the basis of August 17, 2025.
Application Fee
While applying for the vacant post, the candidates will have to pay the prescribed application fee in online mode. Candidates coming from General and OBC category will have to pay an application fee of Rs 650. At the same time, candidates coming from SC and ST category will have to pay an application fee of Rs 550.
Selection Process
The candidates applying for the post will be selected on the basis of Tier 1 and Tier 2 examinations along with interview and other process.
Salary
The salary of the eligible candidates selected for the post can be from Rs 21700 to Rs 69100 per month, as per Pay Level 3. Along with this, they will also be given other types of allowances.
