A big decision has been taken in an important cabinet meeting on Tuesday in the Cabinet Hall located in the Chief Minister’s Secretariat.
In the meeting chaired by Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, 26 proposals of various departments have been approved. In the biggest decision taken in the meeting, a big relief has been given to the employees associated with the Kisan Advisory Scheme including the employees.
Remuneration increased so much
Their honorarium has been increased. Earlier the honorarium was Rs 13000 per month, it has been increased to Rs 21000 per month. It has been implemented from 1 April 2025. In such a situation, an additional financial burden of Rs 67 crore 87 lakh 10 thousand will be seen on the state government. The consultation period has also been increased from 6 hours to 7 hours. In such a situation, their working hours will be 7 hours.
There are 7000 farmer advisors working in the state, who play an important role in the implementation of agricultural schemes at the Panchayat level. Farmer advisors have the main responsibility in implementing various schemes of the Agriculture Department. This includes agricultural extension, technical guidance and the work of the Panchayat Agriculture Office. Apart from this, many important proposals related to industry, employment and other departments have been approved in the meeting.
