Earlier, heavy rainfall (7 to 11 cm) was recorded at isolated places in Saurashtra and Kutch in the past 24 hours.

Yesterday, November 3, a low pressure area over the east-central Bay of Bengal and adjoining Myanmar moved north-northwestward. It intensified into a well-marked low pressure area over the northeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining east-central Bay of Bengal, Myanmar, and Bangladesh coasts this morning (November 4). It is expected to move north-northwestward along the Myanmar-Bangladesh coasts during the next 24 hours. Additionally, an upper-air cyclonic circulation persists over south Bangladesh and adjoining areas in the lower troposphere. Due to these weather activities, heavy rainfall is expected in many parts of the country.
Stormy wind with rain likely in northwest India
According to the India Meteorological Department, scattered light to moderate rain and snowfall is expected in the western Himalayan region on November 4th and 5th, with light rain in the surrounding plains. Lightning and strong winds are likely in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Muzaffarabad on November 4th. Wind speeds may reach 40 to 50 kmph. Lightning is also likely in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand on November 4th.
Lightning Alert likely in western India on November 5 and 6
According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of thunderstorms with lightning in Konkan and Goa on November 5 and 6, and in Central Maharashtra during November 4 to 6.

The Meteorological Department has predicted that there is a possibility of storm with lightning in eastern Madhya Pradesh on November 4.
Possibility of strong winds in Northeast India (Weather Alert)

The Meteorological Department has forecast light to moderate rain at most places in Tamil Nadu from November 4 to 8. Thunderstorms and heavy rain are possible at some places. Lightning and strong winds are likely in coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam and Rayalaseema from November 4 to 6, northern interior Karnataka on November 4 and 5, southern interior Karnataka from November 4 to 7, coastal Karnataka on November 6 and 7, and Telangana on November 4. Wind speeds can reach 30 to 40 kmph.
Temperature may drop
The Meteorological Department predicts that there will be no significant change in minimum temperatures over northwest India and Madhya Pradesh over the next 24 hours. Minimum temperatures are expected to drop by 2 to 4 degrees Celsius over the next three days.
Warning issued for fishermen
The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for fishermen in anticipation of bad weather in the coming days. The department advises fishermen not to venture into these areas between November 4th and 9th.
Bay of Bengal
Fishermen should not venture into the Andaman Sea, north-eastern Bay of Bengal, many parts of east-central Bay of Bengal, and along the coasts of Bangladesh and Myanmar during November 4 to 6.
