Monsoon has become active once again in Bihar. Since morning, many districts are cloudy and the mood of the weather has changed. Patna Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert in the entire state on 10 and 11 September.
Where will it rain heavily?
- Heavy rain is expected in Kishanganj, Begusarai and Bhagalpur on September 10.
- There is an alert of heavy rain in West Champaran, East Champaran, Supaul, Araria and Kishanganj on September 11.
- In the remaining districts, winds may blow at a speed of 30–40 km/h and there will also be a risk of thunder and lightning.
Rainy season till 15th September
The Meteorological Department says that from today till September 15, continuous rain and thunder will continue in Bihar. Light to moderate rain may occur in different districts. This will provide relief to people from the humid heat, but there is a need to be cautious in view of the possibility of strong winds and lightning.
Why has the weather deteriorated?
Due to the low-pressure area formed in the Bay of Bengal, the humidity in Bihar has increased. Due to this, the monsoon clouds have become more active and the rain activities have increased in the state.
Patna weather
There are clouds in Patna since morning. There is a possibility of rain in the afternoon. Although it is humid at the moment, the Meteorological Department says that there may be good rain in the coming hours.
