Heavy Rain Alert: On May 11 and 12, there is a possibility of rain and strong winds of 40 to 60 kmph along with thunderstorms in Jammu and Kashmir (Kashmir News), Ladakh, Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Northeast Rajasthan.
On May 11, strong winds can blow at a speed of 50-60 kmph to 70 kmph in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh. On May 11 and 12, there is a possibility of thunderstorms at a speed of 50-60 kmph in Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, which can reach up to 70 kmph. The weather will be the same in Chhattisgarh on May 14 and 15 (IMD Rain Alert).
Heavy rains will occur at isolated places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya during 11 to 15 May and very heavy rains at isolated places in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura during 11-14 May. There will be severe heavy rainfall at isolated places in Meghalaya on 13 May. Hailstorms may also occur at isolated places in Meghalaya on 11 May.
By 15 May, there may be thunderstorms and rain along with strong thunderstorms in Madhya Maharashtra, the speed of which can reach 40 to 60 kmph. By 13 May, the wind speed in Marathwada and Gujarat state along with Konkan and Goa may reach 30 to 50 kmph (Weather Update Latest News).
There is a possibility of rain with thunderstorms, lightning and strong winds in western Madhya Pradesh during 11 to 13 May. The wind speed can reach 40 to 60 kmph. By May 15, the wind speed may increase from 30-40 kmph to 50 kmph in Chhattisgarh, West Bengal and Sikkim, on the 15th in Bihar, Jharkhand, by May 13 in East Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Jharkhand.
